Grant |

Maria has been with
the Lamar Medical Center since June 2009 as a Medical Assistant. She has
demonstrated a commitment to the mission of the organization, as well as
teamwork, compassion, and dedication to the job in which she performs.
This month we congratulate Maria for her service and we say, "Job well
done!" |

The
Employee of the Month for August is Minister Ceminthia Grant. Minister
Grant has been a member of the 30901 Development Corporation Team since Jan.
24, 2005. Her present position is Director of Community Programs. As
Director of Community Programs, Minister Grant is responsible for our Work
Experience Program (formerly GoodWorks!) and our SAC (Students About Change)
Program. As Director of our Work Experience Program, Ceminthia works
untiringly with young ladies who are TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy
Families) recipients. She provides job coaching, skill development,
personal development and employment training with local businesses for these
young ladies who are attempting to enter or re enter the work force. Her
work does not end at 5:30, but continues after office hours as these young
ladies attempt to overcome barriers that have prevented them from attaining
their goals. As Director of our SAC Program, Ceminthia engages students who
may be at the risk of underachieving. The Mission of the Program is to:
“Educate, Empower and Equip Students for Success”. Recently she engaged
the students in a 6 week camp that included educational field trips to
Graystone Ranch in Burke County. This gave the students an opportunity to
learn, explore and see beyond their current environment. Her passion for
these young students was not dampened by the 100 degree temperatures or the
unruly farm animals. In addition to her job assignments she has many
‘ministry’ assignments. Her willingness to go ‘beyond’ the call of duty and
her desire to help people as well as her willingness to share her ‘gift of
singing’ is a blessing to this campus. On any given day you may hear songs
of praise coming from her office!Congratulations Minister Grant! |

Lillie
Ann Williams |
|
|
|
|
The
Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc, Lamar Medical Center, and 30901
Development Corporation take this time to congratulate Lillie Ann Williams
for being selected employee of the month, March 2011. Lillie has been
with the Beulah Grove Campus since 2001. The service that Lillie provides
and the support she gives to all is a definite example of Jesus Christ. She
always goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everyone’s needs
are met. Her humble and compassionate spirit has been a change agent in the
lives of those we serve, as well as her co-workers. There are a couple of
things that will help you know Lillie: Her smile that is always present no
matter what and her singing… “Jesus keep me near the cross…” Again,
congratulations to a faithful and dedicated employee! |

Cynthia
Marie Harris |
|
|
|
Mrs.
Fannie Singfield is a valuable employee. She has been with the organization
since 1996. Mrs. Singfield is the one who provides the strength to the
organization during times of struggle. She is dependable and committed to
the vision of the Beulah Grove Campus. Mrs. Singfield serves as the
Accounting Clerk for Beulah Grove Resource Center, Lamar Medical and 30901
Development Corporation. She loves her job and even when she threatens to
retire…the team knows she is only joking! The Beulah Grove Resource Center
and 30901 Development Corporation take this time to congratulate and say
thank you to Mrs. Fannie ‘Sophia’ Singfield for her dedication and love for
the Beulah Grove Campus. |
|

Mrs. Harris has been with Lamar Medical Center
for 11 years as the Office Manager. The job she performs on a daily basis
is too large to outline. She provides stability, support, and direction to
the team. She provides comfort and a listening ear to the patients and
their concerns. Cindi affectionately known by most of the team as “momma”
has a wonderful spirit and personality. She works hard, gives much and
demands much. Cindi has always been a team player. We thank God for sending
Cindi to us, to help fulfill the vision of the Beulah Grove Campus and the
mission of Lamar Medical Center: To provide access to quality
comprehensive, culturally diverse, and community-based primary care.
Congratulations Cynthia (Cindi) Harris on a job well done!!! |

Mrs. Alice Wells |
|
|
|
|
Mrs.
Alice Wells is the very deserving employee of the month for May. Since
2007, Mrs. Wells has been our Resident Manager for Linden Square Senior
Apartments. She came to us with many years of apartment management
experience. She displays this experience by efficiently managing the 48
apartments at Linden Square. She handles the day to day operations, the
maintenance of the building, the various inspections and audit reviews, and
most recently she handled the capital improvements of the building. However,
most importantly, she makes sure our ‘senior residents’ live in a safe,
comfortable, and aesthetically beautiful environment. Mrs. Wells takes much
pleasure in planning events for the residents to make sure they are
constantly engaged in activities that allow them an opportunity to interact
with the other residents. (Various holiday parties, movies, cookouts,
computer classes, coupon clipping sessions, no sew quilting parties and
Bible study to name a few) You will even find that if a resident is feeling
under the weather, she checks on them several times a day to be sure they
are alright. You may even find her walking the halls with a resident who
may have had knee surgery and needs the extra motivation to ‘walk’. On
paper, Mrs. Wells’ hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00 to 5:00 pm. But in
actuality you may find her at Linden Square on the weekends, after hours or
anytime one of her residents has a need or concern. In other words, if her
‘precious seniors’ need her, she is there. Mrs. Wells is, without a
doubt, an asset to Linden Square Senior Apartments and the Beulah Grove
Campus. Her ‘passion’ for this call on her life is to be applauded. |
