All of the listed programs and activities are provided on site. However, if a resident requires a service or program not physically located on site, they are referred to the appropriate agency. The BGCRC has a close working relationship with all social service agencies in the CSRA.

Food Pantry — known as "The Manna" provides food to any one in need. The pantry is open Monday through Thursday.

The Manna is stocked with items purchased from Golden Harvest Food Bank, the local grocery stores, and donations from various individuals and entities.

Clothes Bank — known as "The Fig Leaf" takes all donations. Clothes placed in the Fig Leaf are clean and presentable. All sizes are available. The Fig Leaf is operated by volunteers.

We take all size clothes and shoes. Donated items must be clean and in good condition.

Emergency Financial Assistance - designed to assist clients who have lost their job or have ended up in a financial bind and need some assistance while moving back to a self-sufficient position.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) - designed for those who are in recovery and need a support system to walk with them through the healing process. AA is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays at 7:00pm.

Community Education Breakfast - an informational breakfast that provides education in the areas of HIV/Aids, healthy living, and building self-esteem. Those leading the breakfast will assist clients in understanding their desire to live, thrive, and become a self-sufficient member of the community.The breakfast also partners with the drug court of Augusta/Richmond County to be a support system and to provide volunteer opportunities. The breakfast is open to all and is held every Saturday morning at 7:00 am.

Golden Agers - An outlet for seniors age 55 and older to meet and fellowship weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. The program provides hot meals, games, field trips, quarterly birthday celebrations, and informational sessions on Medicare, Health Insurance, Hospice, etc.

Mattie B. Burney Scholarship - is to assist low to moderate income college freshmen and college sophomores from around the CSRA who have at least a 2.5 or better grade point average and want to continue their journey to a higher scholastic level.

Mattie B. Burney Golf Tournament - is held annually in April to raise funds for the Mattie B. Burney Scholarship. For more information on the golf tournament visit:

Adopt-A-Senior - Is a program designed for people who love seniors and want to show their appreciation by adopting a senior for Christmas. Adoption of a senior begins each in August.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner - held annually in November to provide fellowship and service to those in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. The dinner is held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving annually.

Summer Explosion — six week academic, cultural, and recreational program designed for students K-5 through 8th grades to enjoy the summer while preparing them for the next school term. Summer Explosion is taught by certified teachers from around the CSRA. Summer Explosion begins two weeks after Richmond County Schools close for the summer. Applications for the next year are available in August annually.

Young Christian CEO Leadership Conference - is designed to create an awareness of the leadership abilities within the youth of our community and began to educate, develop, and empower  to walk in their purpose with confidence and knowledge. Program operates third week of June.

Volunteer Appreciation - appreciation is to thank all of the volunteers across the Beulah Grove Campus that give of their time, talents, and gifts to assist the organizations in running effectively. Held annually in December.

Lamar Medical Center- provides quality comprehensive healthcare to those in need.

S.E.E. Program - is a tutoring/mentoring program designed to Shape, Educate, and Empower students in K-5 through 5th grades. S.E.E. operates Monday through Thursday at 5:00 pm in the Beulah Grove Building of Opportunity from September to April.

ITC - is a 18 month seminary diploma program taught by Interdenominational Theological Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday nights from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
