Summer Explosion began in June 2001. This summer enrichment program is a six-week program for kindergarten through eighth grade students. Students are placed in their promoted grades and are given a head start on the grade appropriate curriculum for the upcoming school year, to include practicing the CRCT. It is designed to provide enrichment in the areas of math, science, language arts, and communication skills. It is also designed to enhance critical thinking skills and to heighten the students’ curiosity. The afternoon session contains such activities as: music, dance, bible study, Spanish, computers and art. The desire of the Summer Explosion 2011 staff is to create an academic fun-filled spiritual summer of activities for the youth of the CSRA.

Program Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Extended Hours: Daycare will be provided FREE OF CHARGE from 6:00 AM

to 8:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
