The Mattie B. Burney Scholarship

The Mattie B. Burney Scholarship Golf Tournament is an annual event in honor of the late Mattie B. Burney. The mission of the Mattie B. Burney scholarship is to take a giant step foward in assisting low to moderate income college sophomores and juniors on their journey to  higher education. Miss Mattie B. Burney was an advocate for supporting students with funding who otherwise, could not afford to attend college but desired to further their education. 

Over the past ten years we have given out scholarships totaling $51, 608 to students who are committed, dedicated, and moving forward in their future.
